Water covers two-thirds of the planet's surface and subsurface. It is vital to all forms of life and plays an essential role in the processes and functioning of the Earth's ecosystems.
More than 97 % of the Earth's water is saltwater. Consequently, fresh water is very limited - water in streams, lakes and rivers makes up less than 0.01% of the Earth's water. Groundwater is additional 0.6%.

Humanity is often affect the quality of this essential element for life, causing pollution with pesticides, effluents and garbage, which contaminate drinking water supplies with their toxic or hormonal effects. As a result they also consume so large quantities of oxygen that water resources become fouled.
Therefore, the water quality analysis, consider variety of parameters, are crucial to our existence and health. One of the most important parameters is the dissolved oxygen.





The GetOtwo optical DO sensors are the ideal handy solution for variety of manual sampling or interval monitoring applications. Based on the principle of fluorescence quenching they combine high measurement efficiency with low maintenance. Furthermore, no external transmitters are required. It’s easy to connect the sensor directly to your PC, using just USB adapter or WiFi device and a software package. Thanks to the internal data logger, the instrument could collect the measuring results for days, using only a battery.

Do not worry about the harsh environmental conditions, as the housing and sensitive caps which are coming into contact with the media are made from polymer POM and PET and will not corrode.

The accuracy of the measurement is ensured by our patented two-channel referencing method.
