ECoCHECK H2O2 - High sensitive measurement of hydrogen peroxide in nano-molecular concentrations

The ECoCheck H2O2 is well suited for measurements of hydrogen peroxide in highly diluted media. The linear measurement range from 30 to 3000 nmol/L cannot be realized with other conventional lab equipement. Fast and robust, the results of H2O2 content can be displayed some minutes after the measurement.
Samples with higher H2O2 concentrations can be adjusted to the ECoCHECK measurement range by simply diluting the sample. Determining H2O2 concentrations within compartment air is possible by de-condensing air humidity. Producing reproducible deposition conditions in a cooling trap, a high humidity of the air sample is necessary (air cooling -20°C in a cooling trap). The sample can afterwards be treated and analyzed like respiration condensate. Using this measurement configuration, modifications of H2O2 concentration in the air can be monitored.
The ECoCheck H2O2 is in particular applicable for measurements of hydrogen peroxide in highly diluted media. The linear instrument range of 30 up to 3000 nmol/L cannot be realized using simple laboratory equipment but usually requires expensive photometric laboratory equipment with upgraded calibration efforts. Measurement results are dispalyed within few minutes after analyzing the sample.

Advantages
  • Detection of H2O2 –concentrations in nanomolecular range
  • Wide linear measurement range
  • Autarkic function, independent on laboratory environment
  • Easy handling and sample preparation
  • Low parasitic influence on measurement
  • Option: deliverable with additionally robust pH-IsFET-Sensor

Field of application
  • Measuring the H2O2 concentration and the pH-value in the respiratory condensate of patients – diagnostic support of active inflammation process in the lung and airways
  • Measuring of H2O2 in other biological samples after sample preparation (e.g. urine, plasma)
  • Detection of H2O2-concentration in disinfectants and in condensates of ambient air samples
  • Examination of H2O2–residues after disinfection of medical instruments
